As an international conference calls for a long-term strategy to prevent a bird flu pandemic, a 21-year-old man has been diagnosed with Vietnam's first case in three weeks. The man's 14-year-old sister is also thought to have been infected.
Experts meeting in Ho Chi Minh City said the long-term strategy for fighting the disease focuses on how to minimise the risks of infection.
